Music Equipment for the Schools

Guidelines: The Symphony Guild provides mini-grants for music equipment and/or supplies to schools with the following stipulations:

  1. The items purchased must either be equipment or supplies for instructional purposes.
  2. The items must augment (i.e. in addition to, rather than replacement of) funds allocated by the school or school district.
  3. The requests must come from Primary, Elementary and Middle Schools in Garland and Saline (Jessieville) Counties.

The maximum grant size will be determined annually by the HS/HSV Symphony Guild taking into consideration available funds and number of requests.

Application Form:  Forms are generally mailed to eligible music teachers in January.

Application Due Date: March 1 (approximately six weeks after notification).

Funds Distribution Date:  The target is no later than the last week of March
