It's been two years since the last visit to "The Big Apple" in September of 2009. This trip will have new features, but will also revisit some of the favorites. We will walk to theatres and other sites, but taxis are easy and affordable. The rate includes the following features:
Orchestra Seats for three Broadway Musicals
- Memphis, the Musical. The 2010 Tony Awards BEST MUSICAL. An incredible journey in the 1950's of a white DJ and a black club singer who want to make it big-time on the airwaves. A story inspired by true events.
- Million Dollar Quartet. Based on a famed recording session in 1956 that brought Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins together for the only time. Sun Studios in Memphis was the scene of one of the greatest jam sessions ever.
- Anything Goes. Opening in April, this revival of Cole Porter's musical hit will star Sutton Foster for a hilarious bumpy romp across the Atlantic. Enjoy some of musical theatre's most memorable songs and, of course, ANYTHING GOES.
