The Hot Springs/Hot Springs Village Symphony Guild will celebrate its 25th year at a “Silver Anniversary Soirée” Tuesday, October 4th. This is the third event of its kind sponsored by the Guild and in past years tickets have sold out quickly at $35 per person.
This is the Guild’s 2011’s major fund-raising event. To date, more than $800,000 has been raised by this philanthropic organization for local high school music department tools, instruments, band trips and also scholarships for area college students. Thirty tables of eight will be available for the evening at the Coronado Center which includes catered dinner, entertainment by the Village Note-Ables and vocalist Lydia DeSambourg, along with silent and live auctions of valuable donated items. Additionally, there will be prizes for creative tablescapes.
